{Travel Adventures}-Kyoto, Japan; Part VI {Day 6 of 12 Days of Christmas}

AND THERE’S ONLY 6 MORE DAYS TO CHRISTMAS!!!

Hi there! I am back with another travel adventure from Japan! This post would be a pretty dull one as most of the time in this part of the trip were spent on the road, heading to Kyoto.

It was our last morning in the homestay. The host were patient and caring towards the group of monkeys. The food they served were warm and homey. Overall, it was an amazing experience to live in a local’s home for 2 nights!

Last breakfast in the homestay. Had salad, eggs, tofu and soup.

Then we hit the road, stopping for lunch and meeting students from local schools as well. And we had a lovely lunch with a seaview.  IMG_7608

Lunch was a feast of seafood. The rice was mixed with seaweed and clams. We also had a mini hot-pot with thick broth. There was also soba noodles barbecued squid that you got to BBQ yourself!

And I sneaked out after lunch to grab this HUGE stick of squid. It was juicy and had the right amount of sauce. It was really good.

Then after all the meetings and lunch, we headed for Kyoto!

Day 6 was a pretty chilled day with eating and sitting in the bus. Nothing much went on, except the warm hospitality we received from the host in homestay and the students from Japan. Japanese are always so welcoming and thus making it a reason to go alway back to Japan! HAHA!

Thank you for reading and till tomorrow, Ciao~
